Foil Stamping, Blind Debossing, , Burnishing Embossing Die Fabrication Charges
A one-time die charge of $99 will be charged for each foil stamp. For menu cover orders requiring two foil stamps or two colors, there will be two die charges of $99 plus $3.50 per cover double run fee for the second foil stamp/color.
We will keep your artwork die on file for reorders so this charge will not be incurred again unless the logo or artwork changes and a new die needs to be created.
Foil Stamping and Foil Colors
This process involves the fabrication of a metal die that imprints your logo onto the product with the application of foil colors. Some materials may become recessed where the foil stamp imprint is applied. Please note that foil chemical properties can vary from color to color and therefore certain product and foil combination may not be appropriate. We have a wide selection of foils to choose from. See each individual product for foil color options.
Blind Debossing
This process involves the fabrication of a metal die that imprint and recesses your logo into the product without the application of foil.
Embossing
This process involves the fabrication of a metal die that creates a raised logo on your product without the application of foil. This option is currently available only for our Aged Copper Menu Covers.
Digital Artwork for Photo Menu Covers
All artwork should be CMYK and have a resolution of 300 dpi at full size in JPG, PDF, PSD or TIF format. For artwork that goes right to the edge of the menu covers, submitted file must have bleeds as shown on our menu cover template.
Laser Engraving
This process involves laser engraving into wood and acrylic. Vector artwork is preferred (EPS or AI file). Standard logo size is 16 square inches or less. Oversized logos may incur an additional laser fee.
Screenprinting
Solid color inks are applied onto the product through a screen. Each ink color will incur a screen charge of $50.00.
UV Printing
This process applies ink which is then cured with UV. Full color printing can be done on any solid surface including wood, metals, plastics and more.
Color Proofs and Approval
Color proofs are provided via e-mail at no additional charge for all customized products upon placement of your order. Proof approval by e-mail or fax is required before order enters production. Please be advised that some changes to proofs may be chargeable.
